Featured on Univision: The Impact of Rising Food Prices on Family Nutrition & Health 🛒🥦
I had the honor of being featured in a Univision interview to discuss a critical and timely topic: how skyrocketing food prices are reshaping the way families eat, and how this is impacting their health. The question is, when processed food is more accessible and economical than whole foods, what can one do to eat healthy?
Here are some practical steps to consider:
Join a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture): This can provide more economical access to organic and fresh foods straight from local farms.
Explore your local Farmers Market: Savor fresh, seasonal produce. Nourishing your gut with these natural, locally grown foods supports digestion and overall health.
Follow the Dirty Dozen List: Use resources like the Environmental Working Group’s Dirty Dozen list to prioritize buying organic for the produce most contaminated with pesticides.
Opt for Frozen Fruits and Vegetables: Frozen options often retain nutrients and can be more affordable than fresh, especially out of season.
Learn to Grow Basic Herbs: Growing your own herbs at home is cost effective and enhances the flavor and nutrition of meals.
Join a Community Garden: Participate in a community garden near you to grow some of your own produce and connect with others interested in healthy eating.
Always keep in mind that you have the power to make choices, and with that power comes the chance to make better decisions for your well being. The next time you find yourself reaching for a bag of chips, try choosing nuts or fruit instead. Prioritize your health and take care of you.

Talk on how I managed my Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis naturally without meds.
II was 25 when I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis. I remember hearing the words “incurable disease” and being told I’d need to take medication for the rest of my life. I didn’t fully grasp what that meant, but I knew something about it didn’t feel right.
Even then, there was a quiet knowing inside me a sense that my body wasn’t broken, it was asking for help. It took almost 10 years to trust that intuition. But when I did, and began truly listening to my body, everything started to change.
In just six months of shifting my diet and lifestyle, I was able to come off thyroid medication. Soon after, I became pregnant. And while I still live with Hashimoto’s, I’ve managed it naturally ever since with a deeper sense of balance, vitality, and trust in my body’s ability to heal.
Now, I help others do the same.
Whether it’s supporting the thyroid through food, reducing inflammation, or simply getting quiet enough to hear what your body is saying I believe in helping people reconnect with the innate healing intelligence within them.
My work is about more than just “clean eating” or symptom management. It’s about guiding you to become the expert of your own body to understand your unique needs, reclaim your energy, and step into a place of empowered, long-term wellness.
